The Northern Gateway controversy is running hard and heavy this weekend.  Anglican bishops say that the Northern Gateway hearings must be fair.  Meanwhile, many  conservative columnists and editorials at the Calgary Herald and National Post continue to display their ignorance of the issue from the BC point of view.  Stephen Hume at the Vancouver Sun explores the growing cultural divide between BC and Alberta.  Diane Francis, in the Financial Post, is beginning to “get it” but the measures she proposes,which could increase support for the Northern Gateway are so unlikely under Stephen Harper, that can only be said that Francis is “dreaming in technicolour.”
